![]() The pickguard is a replacement, and isn't adhering too well. It also looks like it has been refretted, the neck dialed in with almost no relief, and the frets are nearly flat. There is a dip in the top behind the sound hole near the treble strings, and a bulge in the same area near the bass strings. The bridge appeared to have been shaved in front of the saddle (a smiley-face curve) - or the bridge might have been replaced entirely AND shaved (as there are what appears to be chisel marks on the top from someone trying to get the old bridge off). There is no overhang to the nut, and it has been shifted back to compensate for the leaning saddle. The saddle had been replaced with a Martin-style long saddle that was too high and leaning forward, so I figured that the saddle slot was too loose. ![]() ![]() Serial # 113-669 (previous owner said it is a '75?). I picked up a red label FG300 a few weeks ago - dirt cheap.
